Hi there well a bit of news here.
A few things have happened over the past couple of months that I going over. this may be old news to some.
-First off The site has been financed for another year, so you doom sayers can quit it now.
-Second the image boards have been shut down due to inappropriate content being posted. All future public openings of the Image boards and Hentai boards will be done via login and password accounts.
-Third off you may have heard that the Hentai board is back open, While this is true it not open to the public its just open to a select few. and I will shut it down again at a moments notice if there are any problems.
-Fourth due to someone endlessly spamming the forums new accounts. I'm going to be shutting off the ability to make new accounts. If you want a account your going to have to e-mail me at hinalove@shaw.ca and tell me why I should setup your account. hopefully this will only be a short term. But not being in University any more and having to put in a 9 hour work day leaves me with very limited time.

If your account has been banned, please wait a week or so.
Recent problems have created a need for a mass ban. Including bans on certain e-mail sites.
If you have been banned, please send me a email with verification and you will be unbanned.
Otherwise, your account will be deleted.

First, I'd like to express sympathy to all those affected by the Virginia Tech occurence. It was a horrible event and that we hope nothing like that is repeated again.
Secondly, to those who've registered for the forums and cannot access them due to inactivation, YOU have to activate it through an email sent to you. Please don't email Stellar, Tannah, or I if you have not done the activation.
If you haven't received it, email me and I'll handle it.
It will take us time to respond as we do have lives of our own.
As for the hentai boards, stop emailing us about it. We don't know when the board will be back up and the emails are getting marked as spam (at least I am marking them as spam).
Go post in the normal imageboards, please note that the PG13 imageboards are for WORKSAFE images only. Hopefully, if you will be nice, Tannah will grant your hentai boards back.
Finally, WE NEED HELP FOR THE SITE!!! If you know someone who can code for phpbb boards or html, refer them to us! We've been thinking of a new skin for the forum but we're horribly understaffed or otherwise stripped of time. So if you want to help out the community, this is the time!

I'll be taking a temporary leave so I can get into a nice university... *cough UCSD cough* so I can see Kat and so...
Anyway, please behave yourselves and um... if you really want the hentai board back, try to create a compromise and a good reason to put it back... Speed up the process or you can wait until... the 2008 olympics to see the hentai board back up again... BwaHAHAHA...

Due to requests for the revival of the H board, I'm making a statement.
The H board has been shut off for:
1. Punishing those who didn't follow rules.
After repeated warnings and requests, the H board still did not adhere to rules or help the community as a whole.
2. Upgrading the board into a more recent version.
The new version would most likely not have a login system as it is unnecessary or otherwise obstructive. However, the new system will host many features, that are as of yet unavailable, to better serve viewers and hosters. As well as ease the job of the moderators.
3. Weeding out direct linkers.
As with many other sites, we don't appreciate direct linking. It sucks up our bandwidth and we feel cheated as some people make money off of ads hosted on sites that link to our pictures. We kindly ask you to refrine from it. Bandwidth costs money and we'd like to have this site run on as much as possible. We don't mind you coming here and taking the pictures and hosting it on another service but we are annoyed to have our bandwidth stolen for personal vendettas. With the update, the files would probably be messed with to prevent direct linking.

Wow people, you guys really pulled through with the imageboards. Except for some newbies, most of the posts were pretty good lately, keep it up. Remember if you have any questions about the usage, you may email me and I'll handle it through diagrams and the such.
Anyway, due to the fact that the imageboards are better now, I'll handle some requests for pictures in which I'll post in the respective imageboards. Other than that, I'll just post whatever I think is good.

I don't want to see any more posts like "I love this site" or "I love Love Hina", there has been a dramatic decrease in "Give me pron!!!1one" posts but nonsense posts are still present. It's a huge distraction and it doesn't help the site. What does help the site are good posts and *cough* donations *cough*. So do your share and submit good quality material.

Okay... Seriously, can you read?
I said not to post anything until I finish cleaning up both boards.
I will announce it when I finish the clean up process.
Watch it... This is your only warning, I will ban IPs.
In case you don't know what that is, seeing that you can't read a message left by a moderator, it's your Internet.
You will not be able to access the boards so browse them for now and I'll get them fully ready for operation later.
About the hentai board, you must be at least 18 years of age. Provide proof to me via email to:
inverse.genesis@gmail.com otherwise, any posts you put will be deleted and only a list of allowed IPs will be given access.
For those that had Private Forum access, contact me and I'll add you.

PG-13 and Hentai imageboard users!
Please don't post anything for the next week.
I'll be scanning through every picture and post to make sure that all of the undesirables are gone (i.e. plz gimme pron! hree's my addrss: randomgenericlewdname@freeemailhostingplace)
I'm going to try to keep the page count to a maximum of 13 and a minimum of 8. That just means that you should start thinking about conserving the valuable post space (i.e. hit the reply button to add another picture to a current thread instead of making a new one). I don't mind text only posts but for Tannah's sake, please use an anime/board related picture.
Since the traffic here is quite low, I'll just delete old posts every week so it gives the board a chance to fill up. Of course, low quality or bad posts will result in deletion immediately.
For you people what ask for pictures by submitting your email:
If I catch you doing that, that email will be unusable. So please, don't do that.

We now offically have someone other than myself watching over the imageboards.
CounterStrike has stepped up to the plate to help out. So what he says goes. and he has my full support to nuture the Imageboards into something much better tban they are currently. and if this take some heavy pruning so be it.
Please observe the following rules:
Media ImageBoard:
-No advertising
-Don't post threads with no files, it wastes the storage and we end up with 87 pages of useless stuff.
-Keep this place to PG-13
-Stop posting series pictures in individual threads!
Hentai Imageboard:
Please observe the following rules:
-If you make a new thread, please, please have a picture. If not, you're wasting storage space and bandwidth.
-If you are posting in a series, hit the reply button, it makes it easier for people to see and also, it helps limit the page usage.
-Do not post "gimme sum hentai threads". Those are annoying and it shows that you probably shouldn't be here.
-No furries or guro. Lolicon is accepted but nothing real. If it is discovered that you posted real lolicon, you will be promptly banned and reported.
Also if you are silly enough to post a e-mail addy be prepared to get tons of spam.

Well, As many of you have noticed, I haven't been working on the site much. This is due to more real world problems than people messing with the site.
It looks like I'm going to have some involuntary time off from work coming up. (aka I may be looking for work) So this will let me catch up on stuff.
Also I'm looking for a couple people to mod/admin the image boards both PG13 and the Hentai board, if your interested drop me a e-mail. I will be looking for people I can trust and people that have a bit of experience in running image boards.
For the meantime if you want to drop me a message and don't want to e-mail me feel free the to use the pg-13 image boards. just try to post a anime related picture along with you message. (this should be easy as there tons out there)
Also there has been a question of how long it takes the boards to refresh, after you post something its pretty much instant. just hit the refresh button before trying to post again.

If you don't like how the site is run go elsewere! don't ruin it for everyone else.

Some of you have been pestering me about the forums, I will try to get them back up soon as I can, but I only really have 1 day a week to work on this place, due to it being the Christmas season.
Tho its kinda scary we are already close to the bandwith limit of the old site. and we are only on the 6th of december

Hi People,
Ok a bit of news here, We have had a busy day editing the site to bring things back to operational status.
The Image board is back up, As is the Hentai board (18+ only)
Theres going to be a few glitches here and there, but it will be worked out in time.
One thing you will notice is that we have a rollback to about the 17th of October, nothing can be done about this
The Fourms are down untill further notice Aswell, due to the fact that I have to figure out how to upload a 700+meg SQL file.

In the next few days the site may go down for a day or so as I compleat moving the website to a new server. So I'm going to have to drydock the site for a bit.
Then the real overhaul and retrofit can commence.

Hi guys,
Sorry if you notice that the website has been breaking. I havent had time to work on it at all... Because of this I was going to decide to finally take down Hinalove.com for good.
Luckily, Tannah (one of our forum moderators) stepped up to the task to take control of the website. I'm not sure what his plans are going to be for the website, but I am sure he is more than capable to keep the site running.
You will notice some changes around here, I can gurantee that. For one, the forum will no longer be using VBB because I am going to be taking my license with me (I paid good money for it) so Tannah is going to be changing the forum software.
I'm sure he will fill you in on all the details.
Well, its been fun everyone!
